After reading the reviews, I figured I had to try this place. I have family that lives in Janesville and we were looking to support a locally owned place, especially since I am from Chicago. The first time we tried the food it was ok at best, nothing remarkable and definitely nothing special. I was hesitant about trying this place for the second time, but I am a sucker for supporting locals, I will NEVER make that mistake again. We stopped in for lunch and were so disappointed; the food was not cooked properly and cold too, my 14 year old nephew can prepare a better tasting meal, which is warm. I was disgusted and asked to talk to a manager, that a mistake, the guy was rude and acted like I was annoying him, it's not my fault the food was disgusting and no I don't want anything else after being on the receiving of such disregard. Before leaving I overheard the server say that the guy I spoke with was the OWNER not the manager... UNBELIEVEABLE, you aren’t doing me any favors buddy; I was trying to support YOUR BUSINESS. I think it's time to find a new business venture because customer service was horrible and I can get better food at a fast food chain i.e. MacDonald’s, Taco Bell, etc. This place should be ashamed to call itself a restaurant. I am a small business owner and would never dream of treating ANYONE this way.

This is Andy Otis. You called and spoke to me after having a negative experience at our restaurant. I'm glad to have the opportunity to contact you. As we discussed on the phone when you called, I was aware of the Saturday night that we had problems with our prime rib. I took your name and intended to send you a letter of apology and a gift certificate. Of course as luck would have it, I lost the piece of paper with your information on it.
We work very hard to provide excellent products and service, but there are times that things go wrong. I'm very sorry that was the case for you. My family and I dine at Milwaukee Grill quite often and are always pleased. We love the beef tips. Mark and his staff are always very pleasant and friendly. The food is worth the wait in line but we wish they had a bigger dining room. Keep up the good service.
